Taking the L405 up to Jebel Jais this weekend and suddenly paranoid about the brakes

My family decided last night that we’re finally going to escape the city heat and drive up to Jebel Jais for the weekend and while I’m looking forward to the cooler air I just had this random moment of panic thinking about the downhill stretches on the way back with a full car and my kids in the back seat. I’ve got a 2018 Range Rover Vogue and the brakes have always felt adequate around town but I’ve never really tested them on a long steep descent in this country and the pads are probably around halfway worn based on the last service report from three months ago. I’ve been meaning to find a decent Range Rover brake pad service workshop in Dubai that actually understands the weight of these things and doesn’t just slap on the cheapest set of pads they have on the shelf because I’ve heard horror stories about cheap compounds fading badly when they get properly hot. I know the air suspension does a lot of the work keeping the car level but I’d rather not discover my brake fluid is boiled halfway down the mountain with my mother in law in the passenger seat giving me the side eye. Anyone here done that drive with a loaded L405 and felt the brakes were up to the task or should I just get them checked out before we load up the cooler and the weekend bags?
