I drive a 2012 Mitsubishi Lancer and honestly I’m terrible at keeping up with maintenance. I know I should do more but life gets busy. Last week my friend’s car broke down on the highway because his serpentine belt snapped and he lost power steering and the alternator. That got me thinking maybe I should at least do the basics that actually prevent breakdowns instead of the stuff that just optimizes performance. I’m looking for advice on how to prevent car breakdown Dubai without spending a fortune or becoming a mechanic. I saw Dynostar’s maintenance page and they list a bunch of checks but what’s the absolute priority? Is it coolant to prevent overheating? Belts? Battery? I drive about 30,000 km a year mostly highway. I can probably afford one proper inspection a year but I need to know what to ask for specifically. If you could only do three things to keep your car from dying on the road, what would they be? Thanks for keeping me from being that guy on the shoulder in August.
