Bounce Back Generation TV
Bounce Back Generation is a nonprofit dedicated to creating and sharing tools that build resilience to the stressful times we live in. BBGtv.org is our media site, where youth content creators share what makes them feel good, how they learn more about themselves, and how they bounce back.
About Us
Welcome to Bounce Back Generation TV
BBGTV stands for Bounce Back Generation TV — the media site for our parent agency, Bounce Back Generation. Bounce Back Generation is a nonprofit agency with a decade of proven experience in high-stress neighborhoods. We hire motivated changemakers from the communities we serve and focus on youth between the ages of 16 and 24. We teach resilience principles using scientific, evidence-based processes. Peers learn and share their experiences through media to motivate other peers to level up from wherever they are in their emotional development learning process.
Our 3 goals:
Share what we learn about managing our nervous system in ways that bring us power and healing.
Reveal the science behind what makes us resilient together, using BBG’s Building Blocks for Life.
Create a place that is safe, accessible, and helps visitors build confidence and become open and comfortable asking for help.

About Us
We’re Glad You’re Here
Please Note: while we are guided by mental health training and professionals, we are not therapists. We are peers learning and sharing our knowledge, and urge all to reach out for help when needed through our Resources Page. To learn more about how we work and Bounce Back Generation, click here.
Thank you to Potrero Terraces and Annex residents who, for over a decade, worked with us to create Healthy Generations Project and taught us about what true community resilience can do. Watch this video to learn more.

I get excited about getting people together to think about and create solutions to tackle life’s biggest challenges. For me, the stressors of life can be used to encourage us and challenge us to change, or can drag us down and defeat us. I’d like to find out how to transform the energy of stress into the power of resilience.

I was born and raised in San Francisco and saw a lot of different walks of life and its struggles. The superpower I’m working on right now is enhancing my abilities as an empath while navigating and overcoming my Kryptonite of people pleasing. I get most excited creating a space for people to meet, greet and share life experiences with each other with understanding.

I’m 26 years old and I grew up in the Bay Area. I have two moms who always taught me to look for the good in people. I consider myself a creative tinkerer. I make everything from books to clothes, to music to movies, performances to installation artwork! Anything I can try!

I’m from San Francisco, California. Coming from an artistic family, I’ve always been interested in visual art and writing. I’m currently majoring in Psychology and I love being able to incorporate that interest into my work as a graphic designer here at BBG.

I was born in New Jersey to an Air Force family, so we moved to California when I was three. I believe my superpower is storytelling. I get excited about a lot of simple things. Chocolate chip cookies, cold weather, and other foods. But what really excites me more than anything is seeing an idea go from a concept in my brain to something that I’m physically watching on my screen. I’ve never experienced a more fulfilling feeling.

I’m 21 years old, and I’ve lived in the Bay area now for most of my life. As a student I also take my education seriously. The superpower I’m working on is developing my resilience to challenging situations. Like losing a friend or family member, or dealing with difficulties in school. Developing resilience means having coping skills that are healthy and also allow me to confront what’s bothering me. In the past I usually would just ignore things like that.

While I was born and raised in West Oakland, my family and I were pushed out of the city due to the gentrification making the area unlivable financially. I am now devoted to assisting my community in finding love, light, and happiness within. The superpower I’m working on right now is my empathy, as I am working to improve my relationships with other people. I think that community is very important, and in order to participate as a community you must find empathy and care within all life forms.

Born and raised in the Bay Area and have experienced my share of highs and lows which reinforced my desire to help others. I consider myself a problem solver and try my best to put out positivity and good energy. The superpower I’m working on is self health and healing because it’s easy getting caught up in helping others and forgetting about yourself. It’s important to recharge your batteries and build yourself back up so you can continue doing the things you love.

Your donation helps us reach kids and young adults who need it the most
For many of our youth, counseling, therapy, and access to psychological services are simply not there. We provide help 24/7 with resources, tools for self-care, and stories from those “who have been there" too. Your donation is a signal to youth that “you matter.”
